Our Products

Are Mettā products clean and good for our skin?

Yes! Our formulas are clean and plant-based. We follow the strictest standards of clean beauty - our products are free from over 2700 questionable ingredients including parabens, sulfates, silicones, petrochemicals, synthetic fragrances and many more. We've been incredibly selective of what goes into our products and what doesn't - we only use ingredients that are good for you. Check out our Ingredient Philosophy to know more.

Are Mettā products natural?

Our formulas are primarily plant-based — 82% to 98% of each product is made from natural and naturally-derived ingredients. But we also use safe, science-backed actives to make sure the formulas work.

Is Mettā vegan?

Absolutely. Every Mettā product is 100% vegan and made without any animal-derived ingredients.

Do you test on animals?

Never. We’re completely cruelty-free — no animal testing, ever.

Where are Mettā products made?

Proudly made in India, with love, care and intention.

Are Mettā products fragrance-free?

Yes, we don’t use synthetic fragrances in our products. Our products have a gentle scent from essential oils or natural extracts. We never use more than 0.05% essential oils in the whole formula so it is never irritating even for sensitive skin.

Are your products safe for sensitive skin?

Yes. Our formulas are gentle and designed to be kind to all skin types — especially sensitive ones. We don't use any allergens or irritating ingredients.

Are Mettā products safe to use during pregnancy?

Yes, our products are made with clean, non-toxic ingredients. But if you're pregnant or breastfeeding, we recommend checking with your doctor.

Are your ingredients biodegradable?

Yes. We avoid microplastics and other non-biodegradable ingredients to keep our products safe for you and the planet.

Our Packaging

Is Mettā packaging eco-friendly?

Absolutely. We use aluminium tubes, PCR (recycled) plastic, recycled paper boxes and paper tape — all low-waste and better for the environment.

Why aluminium tubes?

Aluminium is infinitely recyclable and one of the most widely recycled materials. Plastic, on the other hand, degrades in quality every time it is recycled so it can only be recycled once or twice before being dumped in a landfill. Then, it takes over 500 years to break down, while releasing microplastics.
Plus, aluminium looks great on your shelf.

What is post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic?

PCR plastic is made by recycling the plastic waste that consumers like us throw away. Like used bottles — giving it a second life instead of creating more plastic. We use 100% post-consumer recycled plastic for our bottles and our tube caps — no new plastic.

What are Mettā boxes made of?

Our boxes are made from 100% recycled paper with no plastic lamination — better for the planet and still beautiful.

Is your packaging recyclable?

Yes! All our packaging — including tubes, bottles, and boxes — is designed to be recyclable. Just clean them out and recycle as usual.

How long will my order take to arrive?

Orders are processed and dispatched within 1–2 business days. Once dispatched, deliveries typically take 3–7 working days depending on your location.

Where does Mettā ship?
